Yikes! Months since my last post. Because reasons.
The biggest being that I started a new gig in mid-October, and it devoured pretty much every brain cell I had available between then and the holidays. I've joined the first national tour of BEETLEJUICE as Music Director and Conductor.
After a fantastic rehearsal period in NYC in the fall, we held technical rehearsals in KY before embarking on multiple-week runs in San Francisco during December and Cleveland in January. As I type this, we've just opened the show in Detroit, and our itinerary continues on from here to all sorts of far-flung places in North America.
Being supported by a great team and surrounded by a stellar group of musicians, actors, and crew makes long-term life on the road bearable. Additionally, I arranged and produced another 3-song EP in the "Reworked" series, this time focused on holiday remakes. Available on all streaming platforms.
Even though I'll be spending most of 2023 traveling for work, I hope to get some leisure travel and vacations scheduled, and you'll be able to find those adventures on my other social feeds. Speaking of which, I've sort of abandoned Twitter at this point and am dipping my toes in the waters of #Mastodon and #Nostr-- we'll see if either of them stick and get me back into microblogging in places other than the face book!
